In the territory of the city of Vršac, 5,609 lamps were replaced in 2020. A modern public lighting management system was installed and part of the distribution network was reconstructed. Electricity consumption for public lighting decreased from 377,600 kWh per month to 134,437 kWh. Smart Energy Investment Kft participates in the implementation of projects aimed at the reconstruction, rationalization and modernization of public lighting by applying energy saving measures with LED technology. During the implementation of the project, the costs were reduced from 4.8 million dinars to even 1.4 million dinars already in the first month of implementation of the new system.
