In the city of Zaječar, the final works are underway as part of the replacement of the public lighting system using energy saving measures. The previous annual consumption was about 615 thousand euros, and in 15 years, for which the contract was signed, the consumption will be about 1.1 million euros less than before.
The city of Zaječar will realize these significant financial savings, without its own investment, because all costs are borne by the private partner. In the coming period, the price of electricity is expected to rise, and therefore the savings on this project will be much higher than planned.
