On the territory of the suburban settlements of the city of Subotica, part of the public lighting system was reconstructed with new LED lamps as part of the public-private partnership project. The project, which was implemented by Smart Energy Investment Kft The SEI Belgrade branch provides financing for the entire investment and the implementation of almost 13,000 LED lamps. With the help of this contract, the city of Subotica will achieve an additional saving of 1 million euros during the duration of the contract. By establishing a new public lighting system, the City will save more than 72% of electricity, while reducing CO2 and NOx emissions. The duration of the guaranteed maintenance period is 13 years, during which the City will directly save at least 983,954.83 euros + VAT, that is, at the annual level, the savings will be at least 75,688.83 euros + VAT.
