In the territory of the city of Vršac, the public lighting system was replaced as part of a public-private partnership project, in which the Smart Energy Investment Kft. We thank the City for its cooperation #Vrsac and #TehnikaADVršac.
The City of Vršac will save 315,838 euros annually by implementing this project. The financial resources that will be saved in this way will be directed to other needs of the City and its citizens. Based on this project, CO2 and NOx emissions will be reduced by 70%.

In the territory of the city of Vršac, the reconstruction and rationalization of the public lighting system was carried out, in which there was a large consumption of electricity. Almost 5,600 lamps were implemented and a modern control system was installed, which saves electricity by more than 70%. The city of Vršac received an environmentally friendly public lighting system that is more favorable for the environment, safer for the population and traffic, and which achieves better lighting by 204%. With the new LED public lighting, CO2 and NOx emissions are significantly reduced. The city opted for a public-private partnership because it recognized that for a period of 12 years, electricity and maintenance costs can be reduced by more than 3,790,000 euros, while additional savings of more than 379,000 euros will be realized in the budget.
Smart Energy Investment Kft in cooperation with #TehnikaADVršac provides financing of the investment in its entirety, but also provides maintenance of the public lighting system and performance of all necessary technical and technological functions during the contracted period.
